The Outpost Catering and Columbia Room are excited you have chosen us to cater your event. To assure the highest quality and standards in food, beverage and service, please read and follow the guidelines listed below.
Room Reservations and Fees
Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Wedding dates are reserved with a $750 deposit, which will be applied toward your final invoice. Banquet events are reserved with a deposit equal to the room rental fee. The room rental fee for half of the room without the dance floor is $200. The room rental fee for the full room with dance floor is $300.
A preliminary expected guest count is due 30 days prior to your event. A final guarantee guest count is due 7 days prior to your event date. Any increase after the final guarantee will be accepted, if possible, depending on the time and menu selected.
Weddings scheduled at the Columbia Room require an advance payment of $1,000 due one month prior to your event. A 7% Indiana sales tax and a 20% set-up fee will be added to the total invoice. Set-up fee includes tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkins, chinaware, silverware, and glassware. Tax-exempt sales require a tax-exempt certificate prior to the event. Food prices and miscellaneous prices are subject to change. Gratuity for serving staff is not included in the final bill and is determined by the host. Any damages incurred will be assessed on the final invoice.
Cancellations made at least 120 days prior to the event date may receive a $250 refund. Cancellations made less than 120 days prior to your event are not eligible for any refund. All final cancellation charges are at the discretion of the management. The Outpost shall not be held liable for cancellations due to public emergencies and acts of God. The Outpost maintains the right to withdraw from any agreement or to renegotiate the price if client changes any of the event elements agreed upon.
Food and Services
All food and beverage service, including alcohol, must be provided by the Outpost Catering. No food or beverages may be brought into or taken out of the Columbia Room or an event catered by the Outpost Catering, except wedding or specialty cakes, with prior approval of management. No beverages will be allowed on the dance floor. All audiovisual and technical requests must be made prior to your event date.
All fire codes must be adhered to at all times, including keeping all exits and aisle ways clear and unobstructed. The Outpost is not responsible for lost or stolen items during your event. The Outpost must approve all decorations and location of displayed items, including devices used to hang or adhere decorations. Tape is not allowed on the walls. Smoking, confetti, glitter, smoke machines, and bubbles are not allowed inside. Those renting the room are responsible for the costs of repairing any damage caused by your guests.
